Thornton is a small town, nestled in the Pemigewasset River Valley of New Hampshire’s White Mountains. Thornton was incorporated in 1763, and named for Doctor Matthew Thornton, a signer of the Declaration of Independence. The small town feel continues to this day, as evidenced by Benton's Sugar Shack and Driving Range, allowing for a great pancake breakfast followed by some golfing practice between the Owl's Nest and Jack O'Lantern courses. In August, Thornton is home to the White Mountain Boogie and Blues festival as well. Choose one of these homes for sale in Thornton to join in the fun!
